Nestled in the charming village of San Martin de Trevejo, Hotel Rural Duende Del Chafaril captivated us with its rustic charm and cozy ambiance. the room, eventually with a balcony overlooking the picturesque countryside, offered a serene retreat after a slight hiccup. the village's Plaza Mayor boasted inviting bars and a top-notch restaurant that comes highly recommended for its delightful atmosphere and great value. We savored moments by the fireplace in the lounge area, adding a touch of warmth to our stay. the nearby Sierra de Gata mountains, perfect for hiking and horse riding, beckoned with their natural beauty, while the border with Portugal just a short drive away teased us with cross-border adventures. With its spa, sauna, outdoor pool, and restaurant, Hotel Rural Duende Del Chafaril truly exceeded our expectations.
